(Matchmaking) Lost The Past 10 Solo Q games & Its Not My Fault

Before you start saying "You belong where you belong" just take a moment and read. I am not angry nor mad... but I am getting more and more disheartened as the years go on. I love this game, so I really do want to keep playing it.

I've played this game for 5 years, making bronze in season 1 of course. So a question has started to linger in my mind about something i have noticed over the past 3 years.... I have noticed that the more ranked games I play, the more the teams are stacked against me. So my question is:

**Do older, more experienced players factor into matchmaking as a stronger player? Therefore, being teamed with players with a "slightly" lower (or less experienced) skill level? **

Now don't get me wrong, I have had games where they were LANDSLIDE victories because I've had competent teammates. I've been on win streaks of 10 games, and losing streaks of 12 and 14 games in the row. I've lost my past 10 games, and its the same stuff over and over again. 5 AFKs (partially) on MY team, and the other 5 games had a rage-quitter. Now I did watch all 10 games in LoLreplay, and did notice 1 game where they had only 1 AFK for the first 7 mins of game.

Now in about 85% of the games, the teams are usually stacked against me. I have screen shots and excel sheets of examples of this, but I don't want to post it in case it some how violates forum rules.

I'm wondering if I should create a smurf and test out this theory, but I do not want to drop this account that I've played on for 5 years. And for those that say "Oh, just keep playing since you're doing so well in each of your games. In the long run.. you'll win more than you lose" -I have played 1900 games between this season and last, that's the most anyone I know has played ranked.

But back to the point... **I have read somewhere back in season 2 that longer players (more experienced) will be put with newer players. And I was wondering if I am so far into the experienced category, that they are putting me with the newest (least experienced) players possible. **

Let me know your thoughts guys, and not the sarcastic flaming responses please.

That losing streak sounds a lot like what my seeding games looked like (which dumped me directly into silver V). I had 6+ AFKs and more than 2 intentional feeders. It took me a lot of games just to escape silver V because of this trolling/volatile and random nature of that ELO. This can be incredibly frustrating especially during promos and I don't understand why riot wont give out loss forgiven and actual punishments for AFKs especially.

I had a lot of games by now where I got really fed and still didn't manage to carry because the other lanes lost so hard. Anyhow instead of thinking "omg the game is rigged" I analysed my games and by now I feel like I found a decent strategy that is working quite well in my ELO (85% win rate atm). Honestly I feel like you have a mindset that seems to hinder you a lot - you seem to justify your losses through external sources. I only had a quick glance at your stats and I was surprised that you're even gold.

Let me just point out a couple of things that I would suggest you might want to have a look at. -Your CS/min is pretty low and your enemy often outfarms you -You generally die a lot / you probably play too risky and duel too much instead of focusing on objectives and cs -You play champions that are more difficult and that rely on your teams support (Ahri, Leblanc, Shen, Thresh, Vayne, Azir) -Holy moly you don't ward!!!

My next point would be to your actual question if the game matches you with less experienced player. Looking at your games you can clearly tell that you're being matched against higher divisions just as often as you're matched against lower ranked. I don't want to be mean, but I am not scared of the gold V with >1000 ranked games - I am scared of the gold V with 15 games. I've never heard anyone call out the amount of played games as an actual measure of skill - being gold V with >1000 games doesn't make you look good it's the opposite! It makes you sound just as delusional as the guy going 0/10 vs Fizz and yelling "omg noob champ!! I beat you 1v1". Sometimes it's bad luck, sometimes you get an awful team but then a lot of times you could have done much better yourself.

Yea, you're right. One of my recent games, I had 4 teammates which all had less than 5 ranked games on their champions. While the enemy team had an average of 45 ranked games on each of their champions.

Of course I had 50 games on my adc, so i don't see how it balanced out.

yeah, I can attest to some of this.

Because my frequent time of only playing ranked games (until the end of preseason) through my play career, I can say this.

Even though I'm in Gold, I see more players that average under 50 to 0 games ranked games in total (meaning someone that just jumped into their first ranked games).

I can occasionally see some with more games, but the majority I see are the newer players that are still starting out in their ranked. Be it actual new players or perhaps smurfs.

Why?

I think it has alot to do with the fact being in the in-between bracket of silver to gold, the match maker is throwing fresh ranked recruits into the blender and it is just disgusting to deal with.

I can attest to this. I feel like riot makes it impossible to carry even if you roam. My last game as Ahri, I got first blood vs nidalee. I started to roam to some success. Jinx raged whenever I came bot, saying that all I did was "steal Kills" and I lost lane because my tower was taken down. even when I was 4 cs under nidalee when I was never in lane. Anyway I countinued to roam. and we even had some successful teamfights jinx just gave up and started trolling though. just walking top and pushing towers even when there are 5 MIAs. I mean I feel like I am cursed. Especially since I played with a plat 5 a couple times. And now I'm against golds when my teammates are all bronze. Its like since I PLAYED with someone it now thinks Im some kind of diamond smurf. Im starting to just overall dislike and get tired of this game. And the thing is I don't know WHY I keep getting crushed and getting bad matchups. Granted. I could say, ward more. but im just starting to lose faith. I lose no matter what I play.

lost 11 games in the row now.

and not bothering responding to requies, his logic is troll.

And this thread is purely about matchmaking (losing from the start to bad matchups), not about what I can do to improve my gameplay.

after 11 losses... won a game with a landslide victory. 31-7 -_- All competent players, but they still didn't have many ranked games played.

-I do analyze my games, hence why I watched all 10 games in LoLreplay.

-Why are you surprised I'm gold when you are in Silver 3?

How is my CS/min low when I am 4vs5 in half my games?

How do I die a lot, when I have the best KDA on my team, with the least amount of deaths?

How the heck is Ahri and LB considered team-based champs? They're both purely 1 vs 1 based.

How can you say I don't ward, when you have only 3 wards placed on a SUPPORT game YOU'VE played?

And why are you tackling the fact about "who's scarier? a >1000 game or 15 game player" when I'm asking about matchmaking

and where are you getting your facts about me being matched with lower or higher ranked?

you sound like a troll almost.
