A possible fix for Lee Sin

I don't know if people have been trying him out in the new jungle, but because his early-game sustain is so weak he struggles to complete it with an acceptable or safe amount of health on his first clear, making ganking out of the option unless some camps are given up (which is an acceptable alternative obviously) However I believe that if you hate lee sin's early game so much, maybe do the old master Yi fix where some "damage vs jungle creeps" is added to abilities while base damage is reduced. Alternatively lower base damages at early levels in exchange for tankier stats.

Anybody have feedback on this? Don't get me wrong I love ganking lvl 3 with lee, and any time after that really, but if i'm going to see him changed to fit more like other junglers, I want him to be able to sustain as well and not have his ganks totally messed up, and i think this is a good way to do it.

Lee doesn't need his bases reduced.

I think the trade-off was intentional. Lee is still a really strong jungler, but giving him a weaker early clear is actually a really good way to help mitigate his incredible early ganking and dueling power: Lee is now susceptible to early invades, and has to finally make choices between ganking or farming.

Ultimately that helps him no longer be THE dominant jungle force, which is good for the health of the game. Making his early clear stronger removes that decision point, and allows you to simply clear the entire jungle and then gank, with no real need for decision making. That would put Lee Sin right back on the very top of the pack, when the entire point of the new jungle was to prevent a single jungler from rising so far above the rest. And since they've shown no hesitation knocking people back down a peg or two (lookin' at you, Warwick), I don't think they're likely to give Lee any love, especially since people still consider him to be a capable and powerful jungle choice.

But if you look at other early game junglers (Pantheon comes to mind, maybe elise), they can survive the jungle with reasonable health and comparable clear time while also being more useful lategame and having comparable early game ganks.

They're also far less versatile in what they can bring to a team, or how they can adapt their build paths. Lee Sin has ALWAYS been a jungle problem since shortly after his release. He's still GREAT...he just (finally!) has a weakness.

I'm really not seeing the issue. He's still a very viable pick...just not the BEST any more.
