Philosophical Question: Is it wrong to open mid?

This is when a team, one which is losing terribly, sits in base to let the enemy push into the Nexus and end game. This is an alternative to Surrendering before 20 minutes.

This leads to my second question: Is it morally right to face up, and still continue to fight, even when the four other members of the team have given up? They no longer want to be a part of the game and sit in base. They want it to be ended, and jeer at the one who will not yield, but that person keeps on defending, even as the team protests.

Who has done bad in the situation, the four afk's or the one still playing?

There's not likely any moral absolutes, so whether it is right or wrong is going to vary from person to person.

It is statistically unwise in most cases however, as people throw all kinds of games and big come backs are a thing at every elo including worlds (where people would be expected to know how to close out a game), much less lower elos where people don't even know what they're trying to do in order to effectively end.
