Playing vs Gold/Silver, I am unranked, lost 3 of 4 ranked games - PLEASE HELP

I'm currently on an 11 loss streak, my second 10 loss streak since hitting 30. I don't care that I lose, I play to have fun. Which I have been doing up until a few weeks ago.

I constantly get matched with FAR better players than me, my team mates are good players, my enemies are good players. I am not a good player. I just did a ranked game in the HOPE that I would be vs unranked players like myself, well just look at this: http://imgur.com/gallery/L4OUoxD/new

It's getting me down so much, I love LoL but can't play vs these players, I am doing badly and losing the game for my team mates.

I'm not a good player who is moaning about losing, I am an average player wanting to fight vs average players. Even when we win I never do well, I can't learn and improve by getting slapped around.

This is my 4th time posting a thread like this, can I please get an official response? There must be some kind of bug in the matchmaking. I am losing all the time and playing badly every game but it seems my MMR goes UP from this?

Just a bit of advice:

Go into a bot game and focus on last hitting. You need to be able to get the gold from all six minions in a wave. Your CS is very poor and I think that's what is keeping you down.

Yes my CS is extremely bad, doesn't it depend on champion though? Like if I practiced for 30 mins as Sivir, will that help me with other champs?

Also, it does kinda also prove why I shouldn't be facing these Silver/Gold players who can CS (as well as other things :P)

It's going to be harder to last hit using auto attacks with Brand than with Sivir. You need to be able to do it with everyone.

When you're unranked and it's your first time doing your promos you're considered silver for match making in ranked solo Q. After you finish 10 games then you get an actual rank based on how you played (bronze, silver, or low gold if you did great).

So you can either go into normals and practice on basic things like last hitting, vision control, finding out which role you like playing the best, etc ... or you can also finish your promos and let it give you a rank at which point you'll fight more people around your skill level in ranked.

By looking at it I think you're just being hard on yourself. Oh course I really don't know how you're doing at objective control and half of your games are you playing jungle.

You played Mundo and had 5.1 cs a minute and 60% kill participation... I have a friend in Plat 5 that does ~6 cs a minute and 50-60% kill participation so you are not always doing bad. It looks like Shen, Yi, and Yas were just getting stomped.

I'd say you're a bit weak at playing support (noticed you had no gold income item on Alistar but I'm guessing you sold it for something and went 0/8/2 on Janna).

Other than that half of your games are Rek'Sai and it looks like the one you won the Draven carried so maybe try some other jungle champs?

Jungle was the thing where I was doing really well, playing well and having fun. Since the patch I've never been able to successfully jungle :/

I'm definitely a terrible support, I only go that role when I'm forced to (other people taking the other roles) :/

I'm on my 13th loss in a row now and might just take a break, but right now it just seems I'm facing people far better than my skill level

If I'm judging off just your jungle because you like to play it I'd say there are a few things you can improve on really quick.

Don't take Oppressor on Rek'Sai because you only get the 2.5% increase in damage when you unburrow which only lasts for 1 second and use bounty hunter instead. That way instead of getting 2.5% extra damage for 1 second at 1 kill you get +1% damage to everything for the rest of the game (increasing 1% for each unique champion you kill up to 5%) .

Also get Dangerous game instead of bandit because you're not going to be close enough to keep getting the gold from minions on bandit and the 10 gold for hitting an enemy champ is fairly marginal next to dangerous game which gives you back 5% of your missing HP when you get a kill or assist.

Other than that I'd say play some normal games and work on your runes... There is no reason for Rek'Sai to have +0.26 mana regen / 5 sec because she does not have mana.

From looking at it you just have the one page so I'd say start building one just for Rek'Sai if that is who you like playing. However I'm going to be honest I don't play to much jungle so you might want to look up a guild on Rek'Sai to find out which runes will be most useful on her.

I shall try those mate, the masteries and new items cocked up the only role I was decent at lol I also rememebered I had more luck in Team Builder rather than Normal/Ranked so I will also try that.

For the runes they're way too expensive and I want to get a decent champion pool.

I still think you're doing about average. You were facing someone that was Plat 5 so you not being able to get that many kills is not that shocking. You had the most CS on your team and about average deaths for your team. If I had to guess the person on the other team that was unranked went into a normals queue with someone that was Plat 5 and you just got unlucky and had them as a lane opponent.

Anyways the main thing I was pointing out with the runes is that you have some that are giving you no benefit on Rek'Sai so if you want to make them your main it's a good idea to make them as optimized as you can. Also since it would be your best set of runes and you wound not have that many pages you would want to find champions that use similar runes and add them to your pool. However if you really are dead set on building your champion pool you can always get some T2 runes and replace them with T3 runes later that way so don't spend a bunch of IP on them but you still get more useful stats then the page you have now.

A page like this would cut a lot of the wasted stats from your Rek'Sai and be fairly cheap:

Keep the 2 T3 and the 1 T2 attack speed quints Then with Marks Keep the T3 Attack damage mark and get 8 T2 marks of attack damage (280 IP) 9 T3 Seals of Armor (You have 8 already so picking up the last one would be 102 IP) Glyphs can be 8 T2 CDR runes (The goal is to get ~5 and it would give 5.36 percent cdr and would only cost 280 IP) Then keep the greater glyph of attack speed to off set you having a T2 as quint.

So 662 IP which is not to bad and it would clean up a few wasted stats from your page.

More importantly I get the main dilemma you have, you want more champs so you have more options but you've been saying all day that you don't think you're preforming well on the champions you have right now and one of the main ways to fix that is to build up your runes. It happens to everyone at some point and there really is no right answer.

Well dude I took your advice, bought new runes, completely re-did my masteries and watched some vids. Just faced vs Silvers/Golds, ended up going 10/3/6!

Ultimately the enemy Zed demolished the rest of my team and we lost but defo an improvement :)

Just lost again in Ranked, got slapped. Was nowhere near the level of anyone else in the game. Yet I'll be matched with Golds next probably ;P
