In Coop vs AI, the only champion that places wards is Jax (while trying to escape with his Q). In ARAM and TT, there are no wards, so with these out of the way, yes, the only reliable way of beating this mission is with SR PvP.
RectalThermometr1 votesFound some strange bug where I managed to complete it during an ARAM while having the ghost poroh mastery active. Tried reproducing when I got the 'kill 8' and have managed to only get 1/8 so far. Not exactly sure what triggers the bug.
