Download speed is terrible in LoL Client. Any Solution?

I just installed the LoL client on my new PC. As soon as I launched it, It automatically started downloading something around the size of 1.5 GB. (No Pause button)

The worst thing is it shows me ETA 10K+ mins to download 1.5GB (really?). I'm having 4Mbps network and it works well on downloading other things.

The download speed is too slow! How to fix this?

The estimate time is meaningless, just wait.

But what about the download speed? It takes too long to complete 5 MB!
