Meddler or another, what's the team's general thoughts on Lux?

Since her fall from popularity in early S3, Lux has never really been considered an amazing pick. Last season, Ziggs replaced her as the waveclear/siege mage. This year, Xerath's competing for that title.

I know her damage is low-ish in exchange for the utility she brings, but is she still bringing enough power for an immobile mage? (Trade offs for lack of mobility) The E mana cost is still something I'm not sure if I like being so high, even if it brings additional utility and zoning potential compared to similar mage skills.

It just feels that there's no room for in the game right now compared to champions with similar niches (Ziggs, Xerath, Orianna, Lulu etc.)
