@Guinsoo/Meddler or @ whoever is currently doing the Fiora Rework

Can we get some updates on how the Fiora rework is coming along?

  1. Is Fiora currently being worked on or is she on the back burner for now?

  2. What kind of ideas are you guys working with? Guinsoo mentioned some a while back, which of those, if any, are you guys running with?

  3. When should we expect to see some changes on the PBE (or is it too early to tell)?

  4. Would it be possible to give us the sequence of balance updates/reworks we should expect to see in the future? (For example, "we plan to release the Fiora rework, then Poppy's, then Shaco's" etc.)

  5. Any cool info you can release to us about upcoming reworks (Preferably Fiora's) if the above was too specific?

Yes pls. It's been forever since an update about that. Would love to see some positive changes in her gameplay!

yeah I have been wondering about this too. Seems like waaaaayyyy too long ago they said Fiora's update was soon.

True, would love to see a gameplay change. Get more of a feel that you're playing with a skilled fencer.. I hope it will take place this year and they haven't mentionned it since a long time ago.

I'd trade some stats for her riposte to parry hard CC instead of autoattacks. This will probably never actually happen, but it's something that badly needed to be designed into her kit to begin with, reflexive play to counter point and click CC or people's ultimates. If her W did this, you could change the mechanics on her R to be less frustrating for other duelists/bruisers/mages/assassins to deal with and move some power into her E for a longer duration or more attack speed or buff her passive (which is designed to let her go even or come out ahead in trades, not quite Yorick-style but still be able to trade with people like Jax or Nasus without waiting out their stun or wither)

That being said, given their current track record on doinking with stuff like Veigar and Kassadin, I'd really rather not see them rework her from her current state, correctly played she's the only melee carry that can compete with popular top laners right now, and only if she goes completely all-in balls-deep with exhaust/ignite and forgoes flash. Since Cinderhulk is here, it's going to be like S3 top lane all over again.

I'm pretty sure Fiora's rework is on-hold if not completely benched just like Yorick's. There seems to be a number of issues that are of bigger priority now(at least I think so) thus they've alocated their resources there. I'd be happy if someone proved me wrong though.

Im going to be so sad to see her current kit go. I know it needs to, but It is just so fun to play as. I never feel bored with the champ, regardless of being 5/0 or 0/3. Always something to be doing and quite interesting.

I am very interested to see how this rework plays out.

Is this going to include some particle/animation/model updates? I would love it if she got Yasuo'd in that department. She is supposed to be an elegant fencer, instead she is a stiff sword whacker who doesn't even bother to use her parry dagger.

I'd imagine the only thing she is keeping is her W
