So I've been told that it supposedly gets better as you play more of these games, as matchmaking finds your true teambuilder MMR and bla bla bla, but after giving it a shot for a long time, these games don't seem to improve AT ALL matchmaking wise.

wtf, why are diamonds being matched with gold and silvers. that is some messed up shite.
This was a TB game, not ranked.
TB's matchmaking is all over the place, it's pretty much stomp or get stomped every game.
I estimate that around 1/10th game is somewhat balanced and a close fight.
The diamonds probably don't do TB much. So they aren't being matched with other Diamonds, because they don't play. And because they aren't being matched fairly, it gets boring to them and they'll stop playing, so they won't rise. It's a vicious cycle
I decided to play 1 game with Veigar (i'm silver 2) in team builder because i can do other stuff while i wait.
I got matched against a Diamond 5 Fizz.
Seriously?
The rest of their team sucked and Fizz didn't actually do anything except kill our noob Vayne a few times but still...
since I do not play ranked cannot say for sure but,
my guess.. the higher diamonds joined a teammate that is lower to help them and the team advance.
my hope..is that its not highers fake leveling poor players for "fees", however in any multi player game there will be this type thing unfortunately
