Please do not let Twisted Treeline die.

Riot games, you may not like Twisted Treeline much since you have pretty much left it to die. But please, please, please do not let it die. Twisted treeline is actually surprisingly fun and interesting. I understand the player count is incredibly small but I think with a rework or some love to the map as a whole the popularity could go up. Maybe even adding exclusive Twisted Treeline ranked rewards will increase the player base of the map.

Twisted Treeline... I love the spooky map, the atmosphere, the auro surrounding it, but... It all feels too slow and clunky for how small the map is, gold generation is slow, towers are trash, games are too unpredictable, and as much as I love the map, to say that the gameplay is hugely lacking is an understatement. Twisted Treeline would need alot of rework and touch up to catch up to what people enjoy and will be willing to put actual time into. I for one feel it lacks 5v5, those huge, explosive teamfights are just... Aren't there... And it feels lonely, and quit... Unapealing compared to other non SR game modes like ARAM.

I miss the old twisted treeline before the map got reworked, it was way more interesting, perhaps bringing it back but with a more modern visual would be better

TT acts as a good bot containment mode, so I suspect it'll stick around for a while. As far as updates go... I like the mode, but with such a small percentage of the playerbase on it, Rito won't put additional resources in. This has been shown via Dominions getting axed. Frankly, the mode's playerbase dipped before riot stopped supporting it, and they don't really have a reason to think dumping more resources will significantly change that.

I will be real with you.

Riot made TFT and implemented ranked on it to also have a excuse to remove Twisted Treeline.

Riot also has no intention to fix bugs, actually finish the promised features, fix the client, or even rework and update Twisted Treeline. They don't even want people playing custom games or Nexus Blitz, so thats how little they care about anything. Even the Boards arent run by Riot.

It's fun when you first start out maybe. Then, assuming you win most if your games, you eventually reach a point where it stops being fun.

At higher levels of play everyone just picks the OP champs and/or funneling comps, so you're forced to either do the same or adhere to rock-paper-scissors via matchmaking.

They need to increase the ambient gold gain to reduce snowballing and actually make the games fast paced. Most games are decided by 10 minutes, which wouldn't be a problem if everyone stayed somewhat even in gold.

Early game bullies and funnel comps are too dominant, and both them would be brought down power-wise if the gold gain was much faster.

Dude. They won't give af about that sadly. They didn't when we asked for Nexus Blitz to comeback

Man I still remember the day they completely trashed TT. It was during Elise's release and they added alters and removed some of the camps. Friends and I used to play it so much for fun but quit after that update. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave up on it and threw it away like they did Dominion and Nexus Blitz which were their best game modes IMO.

Twisted treeline is like my little nexus blitz.

When I Want something smaller and more fast paced than SR, but I still want the feeling of strategy and counter picking.

However I wouldn't be apposed to dropping TT if they replaced it with Nexus blitz. :)
