I got placed against a Diamond Heimer once as a Nasus. Surprisingly I won lane and I'm only Silver, though I can't take all the credit. My Platinum jungle Khazix was instrumental in me winning that lane. All I had to do was use a bit of common sense when he ganked.

That game showed me that maybe, just maybe Diamond players are a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, they are still way more skilled than I am but not the Gods we might think they are. That Heimer made plenty of the same mistakes I've seen Bronze players make. He just made them a lot less than Bronze players do.
