Did you try the hextech repair tool yet? It might help or further diagnose why your system is having trouble patching/actually running.

Did it, nothing worked, also did everything a RIOT employee has told me to do, nothing worked. It was just a copied pasted response though, so I don't know why I bothered with it.

It's not the exact same error but it's similar to the 'League seems to have encountered an error' loop I got after running a defrag.

I suggest creating a back up copy of league (when it's working) ideally on another computer or an external harddrive, so if your computer / antivirus decides it doesn't like league, you can just copy the files back and update to the most recent patch rather than lose the whole thing. League doesn't truelly install and makes no modifications to your computer, so as long as you have the files in tact, it'll work. Hope that works for you.

The thing is, is that the message was popping up even before the new patch came through. It was working fine the day before, but somehow overnight, it just all of a sudden started popping up for no god damn reason. It's not only happening to me, it's also happening to a lot of people too, it's all over the help and support page.

I'm very sorry and I'm sure it's a legitimate bug and not your fault, but I still recommend a backup copy in general as it might fix these issues faster for you if in future they keep reoccuring ^_^
