Visual Feedback Inconsistency

Lux ults. When she ults she goes all wide armed and WAAAHHHH AND I'm A CHARGING AH LAZAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

And then PEW. You get hammered by it.

In essence it looks like she's channeling her ult, and if you stun or otherwise disrupt her mid-ult you can stop the ult from happening.

This is wrong. You can not. You are being lied to by the game in a visual format. Am I the only person who is miffed by this?
