Sort of--he's got a strong lane-presence against a few conventional toplaners due to his ridiculous sustain. He doesn't have a lot to offer in teamfights, though, and there are numerous AA-based melee Champs who outclass him in pretty much every aspect.

His jungling is also pretty bad. Fingers crossed for a Aatrox rework after Taric gets his, if not Yorick.

He feels very very squishy too, even with his W's passive heal thing going. Like the slightest breeze and his passive is kicking in to revive him.

the champion I have the worst trouble with on aatrox is easily fiora, I'm pretty sure its an unwinnable lane, ive beaten tryndamere down hard, darius, tahm kench, riven, you name it, kennen, etc teemo so easy I pick aatrox into him, but cannot find a way to beat fiora, her w guaranteed crit and burst is to good vs him, she can kill him then wait for him to stand back up and kill him again, even if he uses ult.

that's acctualy a really solid build, remember though you need a decent amount of health to make steraks a good item on a champion, I had a build close to that vs trynd and I stomped him, I rushed tabi into omen into deaths dance and and just kite his ult with my e slow and keep close, when it ends q on him and finish him.

but tbh, I prefer BT on him, I like the shield and his E and Q and upfront dmg on ult r magic, so it wont heal for it anyways.

I rush BT on him everygame unless I have to gotank, or I'm vs say shen/voli etc then ill get a bork, otherwise bork is not very solid, because his W scales with like 100% ad, so you want big ad numbers, because you can heal off those big third attacks that cost health ;)

because your one of those bads that maxes E on a right click champion, lmao, learn to press w and take it off heal and deal 500+ health late game every third proc with max attackspeed, do you even read?

if you have a team that knows what there doing, and u get a ga with his passive, they now have to waste time focusing you and killing you three times, while your carries are destroying theres, oh hes kiteable, with a 4x flash range knockup q and a slow on e? and a ranged autoattacks with his ult up? lmao yeah bs.

try building crit on him sometime, like IE and static shiv, third procs with crit is massive.

built him like this a month or so back and killed a sivir so fast I thought she flashed away.
