Question for Rammus Mains

(Not a rammus main but I enjoy playing this into ap heavy teams, predator and full ap)

Build thornmail because it's his main source of damage and you can still get them to attack you with your taunt. Then, just go full MR and maybe you can throw in a Wit's end just for fun (Believe me, Wit's end is F...ing broken)

Not quite related, but I see almost every Rammus player maxing Q first. I personaly don't like it, I prefer maxing E, since it increases the taunt duration and the attack speed you gain from taunting anything. Besides, it helps a lot on ganks, because the target will stay longer in place.

there's no reason not to go (ap) bruiser against a full ap enemy team. You'll be tanky enough with 2 or 3 mr items, with as probably your most important item.

Back when i played rammus i'd opt for mr but often would still get thornmail cuz it's rammus and 4ap1ad is much more common than 5ap anyway. That said i would always try to get in my build as it would give him a slowing ult and gave him stats he could use just fine. DON'T DO THAT NOW. if you want ap items are always better than rylai's as his ult now has a slow on it already. with his current onhit going is really good, probably isn't too bad either.
