Jungle is a mess

I got autofilled earlier today, played my man Warwick;

Holy crap is jungling awful. Like I thought the new stuff would make it interesting. Sorry to say I walked away from that experience disappointed. There's just so much wrong I don't even know where to begin.

I think the single largest issue is the experience nerf. How am I to gank a lane when I'm 3 levels below them? With the changes to dragon I basically spend my entire life bot-side jungle, because I have to make sure bot lane maintains presence every time a dragon comes up. Why? Because dragons are basically THE win condition.

It's nuts.

Jungle mains, I don't know how you put up with that, my hats off to you because that is a god awful mess.

If you want a real fun time try support; it is like jungle but without the gold income.

I main jg and earlier I played a ranked where their olaf was camping my bot so I was playing around my top side (winning). Olaf got 2 drags while I got the two rift heralds(I got mid and top turret and they had bot turret) little did I realise macro doesn't really matter anymore because once they got all pressure bot they proceeded to get 4 drags and we got baron. They STOMPED us.

If anyone played ONE match in the jungle like you did there would be no argument, instead we also have to put up with solo laners cheering for our disgrace.

So you got autofilled in a patched jungle you have 0 experience with and wonder why it doesn't work for you??

You make one 3 camps early lvl 3 gank on the lane you want (around 2:40 depends on your clearing speed) and after that you continue ganking botlane because they are same lvl and give you prio at Drake.

Don't touch toplane except it's a 100% kill.

Btw. Warwick is atm. No.1 Jungler in terms of winrate in Dia+ Right now at 55%

I was a jungle main last season and thought it was pretty bad, don't think I'll be a jungle main this season. Riot clearly hates junglers and has zero idea on how to make them feel fun to play.

What about you listen to me? Ok, I'm a jungle main who plays mostly Kayn. And I used to have the best games before jungle nerfs in s8. After the nerfs I just stopped playing jg and played other roles till these changes in preseason MADE JUNGLE SO CLEAN. I CAN PLAY KAYN AGAIN. I can counter jungle again. I can choose what I want to do in jungle instead of camping a Tristana asshole!. How are you talking about the jungle when you got auotofilled? You played ww once and you judge the game by this? I mean, if you're going to play WW and get red than gank than gank than gank without farming like the game was 2 weeks ago, sorry that's not available anymore. None want a lee sin camping with 4 cs at 5 mins above by 3 levels from botlane. The changes made farming champions better, nerfed early ganks champs, revived jungle strategies. And you said that you spent your life in bot side because of dragons, which is normal for jungles. We kept doing in since the dragons were a thing.

So, keep playing your role. Stop talking about jungle. Don't be that adc main who plays support with Thresh for the first time and cries that support is ez and your supps are suck.

To jg mains complaining about everything : Stop playing Lee Sin and ganking all times like you used to fucking do, the jungle is better if you play smart. Gank than go cs and gank and go cs again, its ezier to get fed with these early game champs if you use your brain. I tried most junglers and its ezier to plaay jungle now. You're just brainwashed by Riot because of 1 whole season.

Again, play fucking smart.

Jg feels really off. Camps give 0 xp its insane and ofc gankiing top is ofc not happening with how important drakes are. Thing is if u happen to be slightly behind then ure fucked u cannot gank cuz ure like 3 lvls behind the enemy and farming gives no xp so u don't level up unless u gank sbjcb like I mentioned before is impossible at that point. I had a game where I was like 40 cs ahead and I was still behind in level. Only way to win this season as jg is to track enemy jg farm camp bot and ivnsde of u deny him camps then he's behind and won't catch up

Just started playing jungle again during this preseason (mid main) and even while being really sloppy cleaning my jungle I was only 1 or 2 levels behind my laners so, I also had a lot of fun, less ganking and more objectives controls, especially with warwick :

I agree that drakes are very important now (herald not this much), I was basically behind most of the games, but as I was securing every drake we ended up winning.
