@Riot: I'm curious what your current design philosophy is about early/mid/late game power on a champ
Pretty much the title. As I see you guys make new champions and update old ones over the years, minus a few here and there, I've noticed that you've been shifting a lot of power into their late game. Ekko and new Gangplank hit their peak late game, and the Juggernaut Updates for Darius and Garen have made them much better at late game team-fighting. Do you find that too much strength in the early game inhibits a player from contributing enough to a team? Are you trying to balance champions out so no one drops to a non factor unless they're put behind by poor play? I'd like to hear any thoughts a Rioter has on this, at their discretion of course. :)
