Though....no matter what they touch. No matter if they give him 30 base AD. I'm still building him full tank and laugh as I may not do damage (which I don't seriously build damage on him anyway unless you count Thornmail) but I'll be damned if I don't get to ult you and your entire team and /laugh as they kill you. In all seriousness though, I have faced and I do play J4 quite a bit. I see J4's grab damage early and melt people, which true it's pretty powerful. However, I find tanky J4 more fun. NO DAMAGE. Pure armor, MR, and HP.

any nerfs to his damage would make his early game jungle clear unreasonably bad.

J4 is honestly in an okay spot right now. he just happens to have really strong early ganks and he brings a lot of utility to the late game which makes him great for soloqueue.

When Riot gets around to nerfing Jarvan, it'll most likely be AD ratio reductions. I mean really, 1.2 on Q?

Tank Jarvan has little to fear, I think.

Ahh, initiation tank Jarvan then. I love initiation tanks as well (5 man Amumu ulti plox)

Try squeezing in as much CDR into that build as possible too. Jarvan becomes much more hilarious when you can flag and drag every 8 seconds; usually twice, sometimes even 3 times a fight if you time well/you last that long.
