Riot I made a post on Report a Bug section about how ever since this patch, insane ping spikes have come in while I'm playing and it's pissing me off. I also said instead of immediately removing the thread, take a look and TRY to help and be useful. 10 minutes later you remove the thread just to mess with me? So here is Boards Feedback so you can't remove it for that crap. Screw these boards. How about taking a look at ACTUAL PROBLEMS. The problem I was having GOES INTO THE REPORT A BUG SECTION. I did also state that people are getting fucking fed up with your crap and you avoiding discussing about YOUR fuck-ups. I KNOW it's not my problem I am getting spikes. I KNOW I'm not the only one getting them. And I KNOW they have occurred only with the recent patch. Some more Boards Feedback? Here you go. I hate these boards. You never look at anything important, and are too busy commenting about a skin design that you will never make, and ignoring reports about bugs and broken champs that either NEED a buff, or NEED a nerf. Fits into Boards Feedback now. So how about actually doing something important and fixing your game while NOT tossing away criticism aimed at YOU for YOUR fuck ups.

EDIT: As I said in my first post before it got deleted, I know this is salty and rage-induced. BUT my point still stands. I make no excuses for my anger as it went too far, but it is still frustrating for these spikes to continue almost every game since the patch came out.

EDIT 2: Removed some of the needless profanity. Kept some for emphasis on what I'm trying to get across. As I am still angry over this, but thankfully not as angry as when I posted this.

Side edit: Note that the teambuilder skin bug is still going.

Your attitude leaves something to be desired, but you have a point. There have been obvious issues since the latest patch and I don't see Riot saying anything about them at all. A thread detailing some of the reported issues would be appreciated.

Yeah, I posted about the firewall popup that they claimed they fixed a few days ago, yet showed up THAT NIGHT 27 times in a row (for the same game, even) when I tried to play an ARAM. I posted on the bug report threads with a title "Firewall Popup Still Not Fixed" and it got deleted. No reason given.

I posted again, as they gave me no reason as to why it was deleted, I just figured I hadn't added the "[Client]" tag like I was supposed to, and I changed the name up a bit. "[Client] Firewall Popup Still Appearing" was my second post, and I outlined the same information about how it popped up multiple times after they said they fixed it. That thread was also deleted, this time with the explanation of "wrong board"

it could also be that riot wants their forums to be a bit more family friendly. You might have brought up a good point but since you brought it up with so much hate, it's hard to see past that. that hate can't be tolerated either, so they remove your post.

From my point of view, I have not observed ping spikes from the past 3 weeks that I've started playing again nor did any of my friends complained to me about any ping spike and such while playing with me or chatting with me. Ping is usually associated with internet provider. Perhaps everyone that is having the ping spike is from around the same area and using the same internet provider? I'm not saying the fault lies in your internet provider, but there is a possibility.

Tl;dr technically your post violated guidelines but in this case Riot should have made an exception. Mods need better communication with Riot.

#From Bug Reports guidelines: Please do NOT post about disconnects or lag. Instead redirect those problems to Help & Support.

Hence your post about lag/dc was removed from bug reports. However, there are some cases when it's obviously on Riot's end.

I'm with OP! My most effing random threads get deleted. They delete ANYTHING that just clutters the place, even if deleting a thread won't make a pint of a difference.

Completely agree with OP. Lag spikes are redonk since 4.21. Nothing better than having to play champs that don't have skill shots because you can never guarantee when the spike will happen.

Even though this was extremely rage induced, I totally agree 100%. Flat out, plain and simple: League has sucked since your rift update, Riot. Please fix this ASAP b/c ranked season is coming up, and if I can't even play a normal without sitting at 2000 ping, then how can you expect anyone to play ranked. I used to run 80-90 ping before this update and I understand that updates come with bugs, but this is just unreal. Almost no one can play, so do your skins and new champs really matter right now? No. Why? Because we won't be able to use them.

Yo. I agree with you! I ask assistance for riot to help me out on my chat issues and than talked to one in the client and they said " Sorry ,but can't talk right now working" I was like what the **** it's your job. At least try to help me. Plus I was this rioters friend. I was horrified that my favorite rioter couldn't even help me on that chat services. My chat issues are BS. I don't know how to fix them either. I kind of can relate to how you are feeling! Riot you need to do something about this. Get a better support team or get a support team that views the threads. You will be losing eventually due to not listening to us. This person made up a good point.

My ping goes up to 900 at beginning than drops to 80. I just wish riot would help me on my "connecting to chat issues" I have to every time allow league of legends on firewall. Sorry I just need somewhere to put this out here and this seems like the right topic:

  1. I have reset computer to factory settings.
  2. I have re-installed league of legends.
  3. I have disable internet explorer than enable it.
  4. I have updated fire wall and still am having problems with chat.
  5. I have to re update fire wall every day/
  6. I have tried asking a rioter friend and they said " Sorry ,but can't talk right now working " WOW Just imagine a rioter saying that to you when you ask for help. Please do so. Be sure its your favorite rioter. ._.
  7. I have internet searched than took someone advice ,but still fails...

Have you tried looking into your own hardware/software/settings? Perhaps if you listed the things you've tried to fix the lag and what sort of results it has (or has not) produced, community members could direct you in other things to try. For example, I have no lag spikes while i play, so I seriously doubt this is on Riot. Check you league settings: turn off vsync and turn down the graphics settings as the patch may have reset some settings you previously had for the game. Update your drivers (including your network card drivers). Put some effort in and maybe people will be more inclined to help you out!

I know you're upset. The firewall bug and lagging lately really has been annoying, and I've experienced it first hand.

But I wonder if it would be more productive to not use curse-words, insults and offensive language, you know? Like, when they read that stuff, they may not take your post seriously.

I've just found that people are more likely to respond and engage in dialogue when you approach them in a respectful way.

Thanks Riot. A lot :) Now I actually have incentive to quit the game, as I have whined and complained so many times before in and out of the game. I know it's Christmas, but the ping fucking SUCKS. The East Coast especially fuckin sucks. And it's not just Christmas where no Rioter is working too hard; it's everyday.

I know I'll probably receive flak and downvotes for saying this, but.. it's not 100% Riot's fault. In fact, I'd say they carry around 50% of the blame, if not less for some individuals. As someone who's run various game servers before (some for tens of thousands of players at one point) I can attest that a large amount of our network related problems were due to bad connections with our upstream providers. I'm not saying this is your case, but it could be.

I'll check into the game server situation when I get home using some of my remote comps from diff states and such. Can you give me your general location and ping range? I'll look into this more today if I can. I haven't played a lot on this patch yet as I've been busy.

Also, they delete threads with excessive profanity. Removing the cursing would probably have saved the thread.

My disscusion I just posted got removed not even 5 min after posting cause Riot cant take critisizim. such a joke Why is it that League of Legends does not work 50% of the time. This games is suppose to be at the head of the market and Riot can't even get their game to work. You guys spend millions to get tournements set up and you cant even get you servers to work properly. Over the holiday season, Riot severs are totally impossible it get into. I keep getting notifcations that is my problem or that its on my end but I follow all the instructions that I am told by Riot and it still does not work. "Check you firewall, check your connection..etc" my connection is fine, your servers need to be fixed. League of legends should not have this problem. You guys say you are working on it? well how come Blizzard can fix their stuff and you can't? Oh wait, Blizzard cares about its players. Riot, you guys don't even try and apologize about how broken your game is. If anyone at Riot reads this, I doubt they will take it seriously. They will probably have a machine answer it or ignore it. IF they do respond to it, it will probably get me banned from the game because they don't want to hear how bad they are. There is a standard that you have to follow and you guys are way below it. So many of companies have problems as well but you guys, you guys don't even try. Hopefully other players will read this and agree because it should take hours to try and log in. this game should be giving me hours of fun, not hours of waiting. Go ahead and take this post down if you want but it will just prove that you would rather shut out the truth from an actual player then acknowledge you guys need to get your stuff fixed. I do in fact enjoy your game but why can't I even access it half the time? Seriously, get your shit together Riot.

What i don't fucking understand is why the fuck EU has 2 servers and NA only has 1. NA is 2.5 times larger than EU is and we only have 1 server for all of NA where EU has two. Why the fuck doesn't NA have at least 3 servers riot, huh?

I actually didn't see anyone else talking about the increased ping and large spikes so I thought it was just me and I was worried. Glad to see other people are having issues with it. But it's happening pretty much every game and making LoL unplayable for me so please fix Riot.

I actually commented on ping spikes and the lag,people keep giving me bs responses like "happens when my room mate streams". I also get a weird delay that feels like lag but is not,ping and fps are fine.
