Riot's balance team is riding the coattails of the design team
Without the design team this game would've died when Morello was banished from the balance team for the sin of actually balancing the game.

You mean the music and the art team. God knows the Lore team is absolutely at LEAST as terrible as the balance team and far more responsible for destroying champs than anything Design or balance have done

I refuse to let these forums EVER forget that when he lead the balance team, he was just as hated as the current balance team was and we had multiple threads demanding him be replaced.
This place asked for this, this place made its bed, now they get to lay in it.
The question that id like to know an answer too is
Does the ballance team screw up the game for us... or does the design team screw up the ballance team
because lets be honest... the design team decides what does a champion do... the ballance team can shovel numbers
how do you ballance senna when she is designed to be an early game ranged nasus?
how do you ballance zoe? her kit is made out one damage spell one cc spell which increased subsequent damage... one teleport... and one utility spell that has a ccompletly random cooldown
The more i look at what abilities champions get... the more i feel like the ballance team just has their hands tied becuase design team watched too much anime and tries to make every champion into a new Naruto

Unless you mean sound/art with design, i have to disagree. the design team brought us such beautiful and well balanceable designs like reworked irelia, reworked akali, aphelios, zoe, senna, pike, quiana and the list goes on, and on, and on, and on.... and on and on and on..... The design team really is no better than the balance team.

Can the design team design a working(better) balance team
or
Can the balance team balance the design team.
recent designs are pretty dumb. look at senna. no creativity . they look like brother and sister
