Why do I lose 22 LP for a 4v5 game but only get 18 LP for winning a 3v5? (didn't have our ADC or mid lane, just 3 tanks Leona Maokai Chogath )

How come 3 matches in a row awards me 54 LP but 1 loss is worth 41% of that?

Furthermore, I didn't escape Bronze 5 even when I won 11 games in a row (including 1st promo match, but I lost the other two). But 4 losses can take me back to 0 LP?

You guys seriously need to implement a bonus for win streaks. You acknowledge players on a win streak by putting a fireball next to them, shouldn't that be worth at least 5 bonus LP per match after that? I even go as far to say as +1 tacked on per win on that streak.

To break it down 1st win, 2nd win = regular LP 3rd win = +5 bonus 4th win = +6 bonus 5th win = +7 bonus and cap it at 7 for all I care

There is no reason in the world, regardless of what system you're using, that 11 wins in a row shouldn't have gotten me out of B5. I also don't think that after 3 wins in a row, having an AFK for an entire game shouldn't have counted against us. I can accept the loss, give the other team their win, OK. But I shouldn't lose LP for a start to finish 4v5 match that we actually almost won but I couldn't convince our Sejuani to build tank. That's a totally different subect all together though.

But they did honor us and I honored them as well as giving my team "teammate" because they did deserve. I feel sorry for your mother though.

Your LP gains are low because your MMR is much lower than your current rank.

Bronze V is roughly 700MMR, according to OP.GG you are around 350MMR (accuracy is questionable, but one thing is certain, your MMR is on the low side).

Matchmaking Rating, also known as skill rating, the magic number that decides who you are playing against.

  • MMR appears to range from 0 to 3000.
  • Everyone starts around 1100MMR.
  • You gain MMR from winning games, lose MMR from losing games.
  • Leagues and divisions have no impact on matchmaking.
  • Each division has an expected MMR value (for the sake of LP gains and demotions thresholds).

You queue up for a game, matchmaking matches you with 9 other players in your MMR range. Once the game ends, you gain/lose LP based on the expected MMR of your division and the average MMR of the game.

In your specific case, your MMR is much lower than expected MMR for a Bronze V player (~700+) so your LP gains are on the low side.

Match Making Rating. Pretty much based on how much you win. Your MMR kinda tells where you are supposed to be and gives you LP based on what rank you currently are, and what you MMR says you really are.

SO, if your MMr is below where the MMR standard is for that rank, it'll try to place you where you belong by giving massive amounts of LP lost, and minimal amounts of LP gained. And the opposite if you're above

To add. You kinda die WAY TOO MUCH. I know i'm a bronzie just like you. I came out of promos 4-6 and put in B5. I've played 7 more ranked games than you, but i'm 4 divisions higher, so you can't blame the system. You've a 40% win rate, so the fact that you lose more than you win is why you're not progressing.
