BRING BACK CHADZIR!
Guys I cannot be the only one who wants the biggest Chad in the entire game restored to his former glory. I still remember those glorious E knockup days. But what I'm really talking about is his ultimate.
I think, at this point in the game, we have enough wacky and insane mechanics to merit bringing back the impassable wall. without it, Azir's ultimate does not function very effectively beyond being a knockup with some damage. If you intend to use it to keep anyone off of you, that's not happening. Any given character with any form of movement will be on top of you after a brief .3 second intermission.
And let's be honest with ourselves, Azir is not even in a bad place right now. He's still very potentially that same late game hypercarry he's always been. The problem lies in the fact that 1), the meta right now is very "take baron at 20 minutes and end it," which does not give Azir a ton of time to ramp up, and 2), if Azir falls behind, he FALLS falls behind. With the range reduction on his Q and the soldier readying mechanic on his E encouraging him to be a battlemage who insecs a lot and makes big plays, He doesn't really have the burst damage or defenses to back it up.
I guess I'm saying I want Azir to be more of an AP adc, who sits back and deals crazy damage from range and smacks people off of him, than a crazy diving battle pigeon who strives to get a 5 man ulti every time. Be a homie. Give Azir his impassable wall back. And his Q range back. And let him lose some of his defense if need be. Shurima Shuffling should be an insanely risky, I'm-probably-gonna-die-and-if-I-fail-this-and-then-we'll-lose-the-teamfight kinda play, not the goal of every teamfight.
