Shaco invis
Why is this not a Camo? Most stealths feel like they are getting converted to camo's, so is there a particular reason this one isn't? Aside from the "He would suck with out it" answer obviously, I'm looking for a more convincing reason?

Because his is significantly shorter than most of the other stealths in the game , baring Kaisa and Vayne . Notice , that the champs who can travel half the map or more while stealthed are camo'd , while short stealth is set to invis.
Why don't you provide a reason why it should be.
It's used a lot for in-combat reasons, rather than as an 'initiate combat' reason, so it's camo and not invis.
I've seen a LOT of Shaco players save the invis until after the gank starts, instead of just showing up in it to start.
well... most of 
's damage/burst is loaded to his 1st aa after invis, and he need to be on you to even use his passive... he is need to jump on you to do his job as an assasin... with camo like eve/twitch he would be a waling ward around the map because he needs to be top on you to deal his damage and would lose his only escape tool...
in my oppinion the change form invis to camo would only work if the camo's "notice radius" is 0 (only see him when he is top of you) or equal his aa range... he could walk to you and deal this burst and would have an option to get out from a fight while control wards can notice him... however he would be more punisable for doing mistakes...
