Kalista

So I am a supp main, its pretty much all i do in league. My last match I got stuck with a kalista, who wasn't a bad player at all, but I really hate supporting for that champ. I asked him not to bind to me, but he did it anyways. kalistas ult is so wonky and I have no idea what to do when im ulted. Ill be in the middle of trying to set up a pull(i played naut) and whoop, just get ulted by kalista...and then kalista dies and im stuck walking home alone.

So how do i avoid the binding? How do i make the kalista bind someone else or something? Cause I know I cant stop someone from playing that champ, and I only play supp...
