I got reported by a some people because I refused to zohynas and now Im suspended. I didn't realize Riot punished players for not buying items they dont like to use. Bring on the mob rule, its no longer about enjoying the game, its all about playing the meta. Thank you for this, I sure have learned my lesson.
Riot does not issue bans due to an unwillingness to purchase a specific item. The more likely case is something in your chat log related to how you conveyed that unwillingness pushed you over a line. If you have your logs, we can help you identify what may have happened here, or whether this is one of the rare errors.
They don't. They give you penalties by Consistency and Severity. So you did one of the following. But they certainly didn't ban you for that.

Correct, I got reported for grieving and inappropriate chat logs because in chat I refused to buy zoynhas and said I dont like using barrier. Which led to a brief suspension.
I wasn't banned, didn't say I was banned. I was suspended and put on chat restriction...because I dont like barrier and refused to buy zoyhnas.
