Needs some wukong advice.
So I've played a couple wukong games lately in order to try and get good with wukong. My reasoning for this was when spectating a friend's lost cause game I saw his 0-10-0 wukong 100-10 the lux in a 1v3 after she got both shields bonuses while he was at 10% hp, only had a randuins and a youmumus, and used a simple bush juke to get a surprise attack to have a brief half second delay on the enemies spells. When I saw this I was like "woah holy fuck how did he do that much to the lux!" So I went to his wiki and found out that wukong has very high base damages, good scaling, low cooldowns, and below average mana cost. After that I decided I wanted to try wukong out.
I don't like him jg for his early clears are slow and he has little sustain. So I went and tried him top for the first time doing what I believed to be his normal bruiser build. BC, steraks, deadmans, the normal bruiser items. I trashed a nocturne with constant e-aa-q-aa combos starting at level 2 til I could level 5 tower dive him and snowball from there. Granted nocturne was level 19 and didn't have thunderlords or runes but it was good practice for my first time wukong in order to get a feel for him.
Next match was much harder in fighting a renekton that clearly knew how to play him and had all the correct masteries and basic general runes. I ended up losing lane pretty hard but with the help from our fiddles and a couple roams from zed we were able to prevent him from pushing our inhib tower long enough for me to catch up in order for us to group push and we won the game.
I had a few more games after but these are the most impactful on my learning of him and now my bronze butt seems to be progressing a bit slower in not knowing much more knowledge on how to build and play him optimally. So now I'm asking the community for some advice on wukong. I'd pref that you main/play a shit ton of em for in depth detailed advice. This includes build paths when behind/ahead, combos, how and when to use abilities, knowledge needed for certain lane match ups (ex. Do I need to just freeze lane when versing renekton?), or any additional advice you can give.
Here's what I know so far: -e.aa.q.aa.(w) combo -e.aa.q.aa.w.r combo -use q for auto resets too not miss cs -builds I take vary depending on my matchup.... )always starting Dorans blade and healthpot )always first back corrupting pot at least versing ad tank=Rush deadmans and steraks )versing ad squishy=rush cloth and deaths dance )versing ap tank=rush ga and steraks )versing ap squishy=rush maw and deaths dance -I can fake using w essentially using it twice -can use w to block heavy cc (ex. Blitz hook) while running away -can use w at enemy tower to draw incoming enemy minions to a short halt -generally use Ult when all inning and stick to one person for maximum damage on at least one person, who ever else is hit is just an assist for your teammates to clean up -slow split pusher so it's better to group with team. -strong early game so try and Harrass as much as possible -don't fuck with renekton and probably tryndaquire -I can actually beat a yasuo with him :D
Of course many of this that I know may change as I may not actually be playing him correctly. Also any mid suggestions on how to play him mid I am open too as wel, for Idontplaythemeta and would like to take him ranked since in ranked I only take off meta picks.
Forgive any grammar or spelling mistakes I make I'm horrible at proofreading. Thanks in advance for the help.
