Kat is supposed to be that really weak early game assassin that is insane late game damage so why does her q do so much base damage? If she gets ahead in lane she can basically sit in your minoins to zone you and when your jungler comes to gank she just shumpoo's away
jDVL20eCYs3 votesactually she is a mid game assassin that is supposed to snowball after she get 6 in small teamfihgts close to dragon. how strong a 6 item kata is depends so much on her team and there team. while a azir and cassipoieawiht 6 items will be crazy strong no mature team comps. and her q has not even high base damage... she is melee.. compared i to lb hairs base damages and ratios. all katas power is in her ult. she also the only melee assassin the don't win have something that boost their autos.

AyRe CoNteMpT1 votesit has 675 range. most targeted abilites you can safely cc/blow her up with have less range or some decent travel time. its almost impossible to prevent a katarina from dealing her damage. sure you might kill her right that next second but her damage is done, possibly aoe and undodgeable and its pretty easy to get the damage off, then zhonyas into reset from a teammate. like, its not OP damage, it just has no counterplay even tho her ultimate partially has, but too little aswell.

AyRe CoNteMpT1 votesits counterplay is that you can out-mobility annie and even if you cant, once she uses her stuff, shes done for a while. same as leblanc really, while kata isnt. and i think there should be no blink abilities in game except flash, but definitely no champ abilities. if everything was at least like leblancs jump it would be fine but instant shit is too good.
also, there is really no reason for it to be there, just like half of rexais kit.
