How Does Masters & Challenger Tier Work?
Do you get to Diamond 1 100 LP then get put into series for Masters? But then how do you get into challenger when you get into masters?

Basically take Master tier as a whole then take the top 200 within that tier, there's Challenger.
You don't need a series, it's refreshed every hour or so
wish i knew...
im struggling in the challenged tier
[zombie-nunu-bummed]
Master is just another tier. Challenger is top 50.
200 these days.
i think its the top 200 players from masters or something are challenger based on lp and people are demoted or promoted from challenger cause of their LP, make sense?
Ok, so once someone is at Master's they go to 0. They play games so they can get lp, there is no lp limit there, its infinite, though, when they mmr gets high, they take someone else's place on challenger which has low mmr. This is updated every 24 hours. This happens cause there can only be 200 people in Challenger, or something like that.
Ranking is LP based not mmr based, so someone could have the highest mmr on the server but technically be diamond(/plat/gold) ranked instead of challenger (this sort of thing actually does happen because of decay, which lowers LP but not MMR).
Also, you know you just replied to a 6 month old thread right?
Well, I was not sure about it anyway, btw u are still here too XD

It's all about time of the latest post when it's a bit sketchy IMO more than the time of the threads initial creation.
At the time of my previous post, it was front page of boards since the poster I responded to had just posted, despite it being 6 months since the last post at the time, in contrast with me responding to a 10 minute old post, or you responding to a 3 month old post.
