Will I Make it to Gold?

So this is my 2nd season playing league. First season i played S6 I made it to silver 3 but stopped playing mid season and returned and played a new role (hence i dropped to silver 5). Now i started bronze 5 S7, and I once again screwed around with different roles and struggled for a long while. I currently am playing my main role (mid) and using my few champs I play the most. Will I make it to gold do you think??? I've been doing very well recently since ive only been playing my main champions.

Well I don't plan on going back to ADC for a while because i really want to just finally get into gold. I feel like ive made good progression for being so new to the game compared to others. Also my first moba.

As long as your overall winrate remains at about 51% or higher you will continue to climb. Even challenger tend to be at 52% winrate. IF you notice that you're starting to lose more games than you win then you'll be stuck or actually start to go backwards, at which point you need to figure out what your problems are and fix them.

the %s thing doesn't work like that lol. I usually sit at 50-51% and always get stuck in a win steak/loss streak in silver lol.

If that's the case then your winrate is infalted by lower elo games you had in the past.

If you win 60% of your games in silver but only 45% of your games now that you're in gold, your account's winrate still looks positive, but you're actually negative in the short term. This means you're going back to silver. When I say 51% winrate or above I mean in the short term/present. This means against opponents who are higher ranked than you: you will climb.

got it, well i think my win rate is lower though because i played other roles so much. It seems like when I play middle I am getting fed/carrying 75%+ of games
