What if sightstone wasn't just for supports?

So I noticed some of the most common complaints in the game are indirectly related to sightstone.
Nobody wants to ward. Few people want to support. Support didn't build sightstone. Full lethality assassins killing everyone and we can't do anything. Etc.
And one of the big problems with sightstone is that while it's useful for your team as it grants vision, it doesn't really give the buyer any good personal stats, making it an item that only a support would build.
So one solution I thought of was what if sightstone could be used by non-supports effectively without gimping builds too much?
New
:
+180 hp
+15 Armor
+15 Magic Resist

Or if that build does make sense:

+150 hp
+15 Armor
+25 Magic Resist
1150 gold price

While this will make it 200 gold more expensive it will also be a little over 100% gold efficient at the start. So this will buff supports but also may allow other team members incorporate a sightstone in their build, putting less of a burden on the support for warding. More people will ward, full lethality assassins become a little less OP if more people ward, less complaints about people not building sight stone, and since supports get a buff maybe people will like supporting a little more.
Another crazier idea I had was what if we buff sight stone and add 2 alternative sight stones?
Sight Blade:
+150 hp
+20 Attack damage
1000 gold price
Built from:

Sight Totem:
+150 hp
+32 Ability Power

than other items, so bronze trash will refuse to build it.

on almost every AP support I play. Lulu, Lux, Janna. Because I don't feel like sacrificing an entire slot for a sightstone just so I can have some tiny passive that kinda helps catch people. I'd rather have another support item like

can build
Can build
Can build
Can build
+300 HP
+30 AR
+50 MR
4 wards (maybe allow the user to place 4 wards instead of 3 but idk)
Item Active cooldowns are reduced by 20%.
