Dynamic grouping, why it's bad

It makes how good your friends are more important than how good you are with respect to moving up in ranked.

And classic solo que is more important to be lucky than to actually be good.

The new system won't exactly be better but it is definitely not worse and at least it mixes things up a bit.

I appreciate the topic but I was expecting a more well-drawn out argument against the topic.

A concern of mine though is how the ranking mindset will know be. You hear Bronze or Silver players who are stuck that say "I play with Gold > players all the time in norms and do fine!" Well that's for a number of reasons....normals people aren't trying hard, and even if they are, those higher ranked players are often doing the decision making for you. At least that's the case when I play with my lower ranked friends.

I feel like me and my friends that are above gold could easily "boost" our Bronze/Silver friends to at least Gold. However when their not playing with us their lack of Solo Queue knowledge will be apparent yet higher level players will be saddled with them.

Amm, i can use that argument too: Old system is bad because its not about how good you are, its about how lucky you are and if you get people who will carry you. Now with the new system you can constantly improve you own skill and your teamwork in a constant skill team that you can work with
