Make her cougar form use energy. Energy restore on hunt proc and hunted E, high scaling down with w rank energy cost on pounce. This nerfs her heavily, While not gutting her. She now has to choose what to max, instead of always going qew. If she maxes W she gets reduced heals early but more pounces. If she maxes e she has better heals but reduced pounces.
What do you guys think? I main nid and i feel like this would be a good change.
SwiftKitten882 votesnidalee cougar from already has a huge drawback in the fact that she becomes a melee champ, a very squishy melee champ. it annys me when people say she can "farm for free" in cougar form. yes it costs zero mana to farm in cougar form, but you need to use your escape ability to farm and your in meele from with no way to pro hunted if your engaged upon. farming in cougar form is dangerous unless you have a lead. or your opponent isnt in lane. all that being said nidalee is almost always forced to take the risk to farm in cougar form becuase her ability to Cs in human form was completly gutted with the auto attack nerfs she got about 8 months ago.
i dont tundertsand why people think nidalee has no counterplay... she has TONS of counterplay. nidalee NEEDS to land a spear to make any trade worth while. this mean SHE is the one that needs to initiate the fight AND land the skillshot. nidalee will lose every trade your you engage on her unless she has a tremendous lead. becuae your will be in melee range and even if she manages to land a spear it wont do much damage
Erockandroll1 votesI think there's a simpler solution. Her Couger form is ultimately weaker than her Human form because she gets no defensive tradeoffs for her melee form. (unlike Jayce) and her W being the only form of defensive mobility.
But ultimately because of the On the Hunt passive, one form will affect the other. I would probably suggest higher mana costs on her human form.
