TLDR: Leblancs Q provides unnecessary waveclear that covers her weaknesses.

Alright, so Leblanc just got nerfed, and rightfully so. She was way too oppressive in lane and had too much damage. I'm not here to cry for buffs, but I want to bring attentions to the big issues.

I believe the main problem with Leblanc isnt the stupid high range chains that does need to be nerfed. Not the crazy mobility. Not the passive (though it could use some work). I think it's the Q post rework. This spell eliminates leblancs main weakness which she's had since release. A lack of waveclear. This is the biggest reason why she's like this now. Before Leblanc either kept her W to have kill pressure in lane or used it to clear the wave. This would usually take multiple casts to clear the whole wave. Now, she uses W on the wave, then uses Q and the whole wave is almost gone. This allows her to save mana, have more mobility, push the wave faster, and still have kill pressure in lane.

I know it sucks as a developer to spend your time making someting you think is interesting and then being insulted by thousand of people about how your work is terrible. It sucks even more to have to revert that change entirely after spending time on it, but at this point I think the only thing that can be done to fix the Q is to change it entirely. It just covers her weaknesses too well. I would love to hear if riot has any larger scale changes for her in the future to decrease how much of a generalist she is.
