Auto Mute Idea

I think it would be nice to check a box in the options to automatically mute everyone in the game, I have tried just moving my chat window off screen, but then I can't see when barons or drags are taken when I have music playing, and I can't see how much bounty gold someone gets from a kill. It would be cool if riot could add this to the game.

Perhaps a settings option to mute everyone in game EXCEPT friends?
