Aatrox QOL change.

I am not a Aatrox main. However I do enjoy him every now and again. I like the feel and game-play style that he has.

However he has one major flaw. His q.

His Q is a massive amount of his play making and utility. However right now it gets interrupted by every little sneeze.

So what I would like to see is it get the same treatment as Shyvana's R.

I am not talking about a untargetable or invulnerability here. I am talking about a cannot be disabled during flight. This would mean that all damage still applies. CC applies after landing partial or full duration would have to be determined by balance team.

This would allow Aatrox to be far more consistent without giving a large power increase as he would still be affected by all the abilities.

I would say Aatrox needs a bit more than that, but I'm not sure how exactly I would change his kit as a whole to help him come more in-line without making him busted. However, I do know what I would change on his Q:

Remove knockup Faster fly time

Damage Doesn't get stopped by cc (cc still applies fully after flight duration ends) Possibly some sort of mechanic to reset/lower cooldown Possibly replace knockup field with a slow field Possibly increase range

I don't think you can make the change of making it fly faster or of not getting stopped by cc without first removing the knockup, so that way opponents can actually capitalize on ccing him after the jump ends. Right now, it having the knockup on it is kinda strong, and if Riot were to try to make his kit as a whole stronger without removing the knockup, I think he might cross into busted territory. However, only changing his Q and not the rest of his abilities makes there be basically no difference. Sure, it's easier and more consistent for him to get on you, but for him to stay on you and deal damage to you afterwards, he's still gonna have problems.
