About Dead Man's Plate
So, Dead Man's Plate is a really cool item for juggs, right?
It gives you movement speed, you get the buff to your auto, and it gives tanky stats.
The problem is that two of those things rarely happen ever.
To begin to understand the problem with Dead Man's Plate, let's look at Sunfire Cape.
It's a great item to rush on a champion like Shen. It's fairly cheap, it gives strong tank stats, it does good damage, it gives him more wave-clear. But the most important thing is that it's consistent. It works all the time, no questions asked.
Dead Man's Plate doesn't do this. If you're a top lane Juggernaut, then you can only get to 100 stacks if you either just arrive in lane, roam the hell out of the lane, or stop autoing minions for 10 seconds.
Dead Man's Plate is meant to be rushed as a first item for juggs. It's cheap, it's effective, it gives good tank stats. It's a dream item to rush, except that it's not consistent.
So I beg of you Rito, make Dead Man's like Shyv, where you can't discharge the stacks until you get to 100. Make it to where it can be consistent, and then maybe I'll take it over Randuin's Omen.
If you can't do this, then please tell me why.
