Gragas as a Bralwer

Today I wanted to present an issue that I still continuously see, when he is picked. The idea of Gragas was supposed to be a brawler type champion, as in Riots words told the community. When he was first released riot had issues with Gragas being able to go middle, safely clear creeps with relative ease and being able to burst people from full health to nil. Then the update happened that was supposed to fix this problem but in today's current state of the game I still see him picked middle or top, build full damage and with one full rotation of spells, sometimes without the ultimate, kill people and clear waves with just barrel. My question to you is, will this playstyle of Gragas get fixed or is he supposed to be a burst type mage? To me, if he is supposed to be this brawler, he'd shouldn't be able to burst people from full to nil with just Morello's and Doran's ring and be able to clear waves with relative ease. I just want to know what the future holds for "Burst Gragas" and it may not be the champions fault maybe it is items or masteries but I just want the integrity of the champion to be intact

This post is not saying that Gragas is op or needs a nerf, this post is relating to the initial changes that happened to Gragas so so long ago. If he is supposed this brawler then why can he can go full ap and succeed really well. Remember when Fizz and Ekko built full tank and succeeded really well as these brawlers? Yes they was strong and needed tweaks but still it's saying that it's not ok for them to do that and excel while Gragas can be a mage excel or be a tank and excel. Just if Gragas is supposed to be a brawler, then why excel really well as a range nuker.

I am just more concerned that the initial changes never really solved the problem in the first place. I love diversity because it creates a healthy champion
