Dark Star Thresh

I was just kind of curious about something. For those of us that purchased Dark Star Tresh, we haven't been able to use him outside of a very small window wi ce he was released. It's been days since his release, and the issues he was causing still haven't been resolved. Is there a chance of compensation or something? For a skin that costs so much, it's kind of ridiculous that we havent been able to actually use it.

If this isn't an option, that's totally cool. :) just curious. If anyone else has an opinion on the matter, I would love to hear it!

This whole thing is no different than a teaser for a movie or a demo for a game that you've pre-purchased or pre-ordered. You will still get the product, but you'll have to wait. If you intended to buy the skin anyway, it wouldn't have mattered that it released now and you can't use it for a bug ,or if it had originally been scheduled for release next week because either way, you'll get it and you'll spend the money on it.

All of you keep treating this like it was a product recall for poisonous cabbage or something where they reimburse you or replace it. The principle happens here, except they will fix the skin and you will still get it when they repair it. You're not getting reimbursed because unless you're not going to keep the product, it will still be in your possession.

Well it's just a bug that happened to slip through PBE because it's an inconsistent one, and generally only happens on (or against, depending on your perspective) lower-end computers. Even with low-end computers, it doesn't always happen, and it's difficult to consistently replicate, which I'm assuming is part of the reason it's taking a long time.

No one said you had to immediately buy the skin upon release though, and with just about every other thing Riot had to take down for bugfixing or just in general the concept that brand new releases for anything (not just League) online might be bugged is something people should keep in mind. Sure, you can ask for compensation, but I don't really see why Riot needs to give that. Yes, they should have done more bugtesting which is their fault, but the rest isn't.

I'm one of the people that also bought the skin immediately upon release, but I'm just sitting patiently and playing with other champions or the Blood Moon skin I have for Thresh while I'm just waiting for it to be fixed. But again, there is no need for compensation, because there is no burning need to play that particular skin. The last time I remember they gave compensation was with Gangplank because he was going to be used in a tournament but then was disabled for bugs. Skins don't have any impact on the game itself, so it's irrelevant.

LOL "Compensation".... from Riot Games. You must be smoking something good. This company literally does not give a flying F about you or I, much less our money. If they could, they would suck all the money from your bank account like dark star thresh sucked the money into his bottomless black hole chain.
