@Riot- Talon update effectiveness

Do you guys think that Talon is super weak now, after the rework? I just feel like he's not effective anymore...at all. His damage is WAY too slow, and on top of that, he has no really reliable ways to get on his target like literally ALL of the other assassins. Just my two cents.

As a long time Talon player and have played a lot of games with the new rework doing really well, and also not so well: He definitely has better tools than before and the main focus is his potential damage.

He get's kited out harder than other assassins because of how situational his E is. So if they see you coming you're going to have a harder time jumping on a target than say a Zed or Kat on top of losing damage from not being able to meelee Q.

Even with that I think that isn't his main problem. That's just one of the counter-plays to Talon which is fine. I think his damage needs a bit of tweaking more than anything else.

Particularly in his ultimate. They kinda killed his ultimate damage in order to cap his AOE and put more focus on single-target assassinations. That's okay, but aside from the blade converging (which is more of a quality of life change), the damage wasn't compensated enough for the base nerfs.

Often times I find the bulk of my damage coming from Q and passive. Which is also fine, but considering they out-damage my ULTIMATE, it just overall feels bad. An ultimate is supposed to feel like an ultimate. My trump card. But my trump card feels more like a meelee Q + passive proc. If my target even has 1 armor item, no matter how much lethality I have, my ultimate is going to feel like a paper cut.

------**When I take the risk to de-stealth and put myself in the enemy's focus, I should be rewarded with extra damage for making my blades converge. **--------

So many times was I fed and made my ultimate converge for the finishing kill, only to have them walk away with ~50HP because it does so little. I find myself using my ultimate more for defensive purposes or repositioning so my other abilities can do the damage.

TL;DR - Too much damage was focused into his passive that they made his ultimate into more of a utility tool. They should just add a bit of base or higher AD ratio, even if it's just a little, to help him out. This is mainly for the late game as he still falls off a bit, although not has hard as old talon.

For god's sake Rengar can build tank and get 30% free ad for just killing 5 people, give Talon a little extra damage back (not early game). On that same topic, please fix Rengar. I thought Riot learned from Bruiser Fizz and Tank Ekko....

"Way too slow"

Compared to before the rework. I think it's pretty average compared to other reworked assassins.

"He has no reliable ways to get on his target like literally all other assassins"

Not really. Katarina's dagger shunpo has a lot of counterplay and thus less reliability. Talon's Q will bring him to the target when in max range, so he has a reliable way of getting on his target, it just isn't exactly the safest.

I think he's really op, but maybe that's because people in my rank are retarded enough to give me free close range Qs
