Why surrender should be disable in ranked.

I don't get why people think it's ok to surrender at 20 minutes, champions don't even reach their scaling till like 40 minutes in. I'm always the guy in ranked that says don't surrender we can still win. I honestly can't say that you win all matches you don't surrender, if you've played league for a long time you will have noticed that games can end with 1 mistake by either team. Typically before even 10 minutes in someone says gg surr at 20 for no reason, since surrender is available in ranked these people stop trying to play and just try to buy time. It's always a better idea to play a game out, if the enemy team is "Op" or fed they will just mow down your base and nexus around 20 anyways. I'd like to hear people's opinions on why my idea is shit or that it needs to be tweaked. I appreciate any feedback that you guys can provide on this idea.

So every asshole team can drag out the win as long as possible for the most ip. Yeah okay.

I don't like to surrender either. There's still a good chance the game can be turned around, especially if after that first failed surrender, people kind of reset and get their act together.

Some games are just not likely winnable. For example, the entire enemy team is fed before 20mins and they are a scaling team, the chances are: you are not likely to come back. There might still be a chance to win, but its lower than 10% from my experiences. People throw, yes but they are not likely to throw a 10k gold lead at 20mins. I would rather start a fresh new game than being stomped over and over until my nexus explodes. Maybe out of the 10 games that you don't surrender, you win one. but the time you wasted could've gone towards a new game. I hope this all makes sense. btw, I'm talking about large gold differences at 20mins situations. Obviously I won't surrender a game that's still kinda winnable.

because AFKers exist, and without a surrender the side with a full team will just farm kills to pad their ranked KDA

and even if it is 5v5 people dont want to play a game with a feeder kid that got butthurt his role was taken

It's put to a vote as it is, so there's no reason to remove it.

If they have Gragas Vayne Malphite Vel Koz and Xerath, I'm probably gonna surrender if the score is 10-0 and we have like, Lucian Ryze Renekton Rumble and nami.

I actually wish you could surrender at 15 mins. I cant tell you how many games I have been in that have had an AFK, Troll, or me and my team just got stomped. Then there is the toxicity factor of the team just not working well together and things getting miserable really fast. A lot of the games i surrender at 20 mins were usually done between the 5-10 min mark as the team just gave up, leaving you just standing around because a lot of people just wait in the fountain or ragequit. Honestly at 15 mins you can pretty much tell if a game is over or not anyway.

Welp all of thr afk's. And if they got Jax Shyvanna Viktor Vayne Blitzcrank and they're 26-6, and we got Renekton, lee, zed, urgot, soraka i think we're gonna ff. It's literally almost impossible to win those type of games.

even though i rarely ever surrender this is something that should never happen. Surrendering is there for a reason, why bother continuing the 20-4 game where you haven't even taken a single turret while the enemy is already knocking on your inhib ones and every single enemy is fed like crazy while your entire team is underfarmed? why continue a game where all you hear is people bitching and moaning and blaming each other for how "it's your fault X champion is fed" and saying stupid stuff like "i don't care anymore" or "you are 0-6-2" when they make a stupid mistake and die by going where they shouldn't have gone
