I would say mid is the most volatile lane when it comes to itemization it really comes down to your opponent. Honestly, I would avoid it unless its a melee mid champ like fizz, yasuo or zed. You are going to have to rely on moving around and juking skills a lot. But i would say mainly AP, but since you won't have access to your W its going to need to be a bit more sustain tanky AP.
