Will Maokai's wave of branches be 1 skillshot or multiple

I just don't want it to be like the interaction between Nami ult and Yas windwall

Multiple. Each individual missile can root one enemy champion and gets blocked independently of the others by Yasuo/Braum.

It is 5 separate sections

As a Nami main, I still don't think Windwall is half as infuriating as the boards makes it out to be.

There is counterplay.

I completely agree, it would ruin the experience of using the ultimate if Yasuo can block it all by using Wind-wall on one corner of it.

Im also curious if one person can eat more than one section of it.

It's 5 right now. Confirmed on some comments from Meddler's post.

even then i bet yasuo can block at least 3 of them

XD imagine it blocking a whole lane wide ult.... #nerfyasuo2k17

You should reword that into 1 projectile or multiple

I play Maokai a lot and I have no idea what this means.

Its 5 different lines. Each line can only hit 1 champion though. So its possible for any tank to bodyblock it for their carries

It said "summons a lane-wide wall of roots that slowly advances forward, each one rooting (heh) the first enemy champion hit." So I'd imagine it's separated into multiple parts.
