Best defensive builds against ADs?
Just looking for the best items to build (in a generic sense) against 4 AD+ support and 5 AD teams. Anything really stand out right now?

The best defense is a good offense. Sounds cliche but unless you have armor modifiers and are the main front-line (malphite or rammus etc.) you should just build damage in my opinion. ADC's are pretty strong currently and the best way to deal with them is to kill them. That being said

come to mind for the best general options. Frozen fist was buffed significantly for the tanks and Frozen heart seems a bit weaker than before because of the shorter games and slight increase in price.

Nice, was doing Xin jungle, rushed out an essence reaver, a frozen gauntlet may have helped though, couldn't stick to the fed quinn.
Pretty much this statement. Armor is good against AD, but it never hurts to stack item with both armor and health. You can't go wrong with HP. Sometimes HP might not seem to matter vs %HP team, but HP helps in general.

Yeah armor sucks without HP but the new item they released eats through armor AND HP which was the main purpose of seeing if anyone knew of any items that stand out. In the past Randuins has always been one of my favorites.
This could vary a bit depending on what champ your playing in what position. Though top lane is your best bet if you want to counter build defenses.
On my Sion, I actually enjoy the AD matchup, because I can rush Frozen heart. Which the combination of Armor, Mana, and CDR, makes good on just about any Caster tank.
Ice born seems to be a good alternative for a more aggressive Bruiser or Juggernaut, or anyone with a good mix of abilities and Auto attacks.
Both Iceborn, and Thornmail, have scaling effects with Armor stacking.
As for counter picking, I might suggest someone with good engage potential, and possible some split push potential. Stacking Armor is going to make you near impossible to duel against, unless they have tank shred. Assuming these AD's are for the most part Glass cannons. Engage, and CC are going to be your friends.

Also Im only SIlver 3, so idk how helpful my builds would be. but here ya go champ

The sad part is, any crit with a modifier less than 2.5 does less damage than a normal auto attack. 60% crit reduction op Swapping one RO out for Ninja Tabbi would probably be as good or maybe even better.
This actually works if you don't need to mitigate any other form of damage.
For those that are curious, this gives you: +2700 Health +360 Armor -60% Critical Strike Damage (Crits deal LESS than normal damage with 200% damage and deal the same exact damage as a normal basic attack with 250% damage)
The passive and active are also great.
Build this against every Yasuo since his crits also by default deal less damage, making it hilarious to watch all of his crits deal less damage than a normal basic attack.
if you are against strictly AD and are going full tank with no damage. If supp add
for
and if you need end game more health for last push get
back if you have the gold and team is warding. Last ditch kinda thing.
All the Armor items are good (except Ohmwrecker), which one to chose is very context dependent, because they each have their specialty.
: you want to counter Crits (Yasuo, Tryndamere, most ADCs) and to a lesser extent basic attacks in general.
: you want to counter basic attacks (Udyr, Warwick, Xin, Yi, most ADCs) AND you have at least one other Armor item (by itself it provides no health + the mirrored damage is pretty meh, but it scales with your armor).
: you want to counter basic attacks for your team (same champs as Thornmail) (if you want a selfish item, Randuin is almost always better because it also offer health, but Frozen Heart also slow the enemies that do not attack you directly; though it doesn't help your mates against like Rengar, because he doesn't use basic attacks so he doesn't care about the slow)
: you need mobility to reach them (you are a Juggernaut without CC).
: you don't die too much and you want more damage (it's still generally good because it has health too, but there is often a better option if you want pure defense)
: you don't die too much and you want more CC -- but you need a spamable skill (also scales the more Armor you have, like Thornmail).Honorable mentions:
: the amount of Armor is small, but the passive is exceptionally good for such a cheap item (same champs as Thornmail, if you don't need
more).
: extremely situational, pick it if you really need to push towers. But the mobility passive is quite good, and it also provides MR. Can be your only MR item, or with just Merc Treads against triple AD comps, if you don't have specific synergy with Spirit or Banshee.
: provide good survivability, but it's generally geared toward carries, not tanky frontliners.
: actually has as much armor as Sunfire, but geared more toward mage, not tanky frontliners.tl;dr:
