As someone of a comparable rank and the same role getting mostly mid-high plats on their team, I figured I'd look you up.

The issue isn't so much dynamic queue or matchmaking being questionable, so much as you have an atrocious mmr right now, in the ball park of low gold, hence why you're getting matched with them. If you're actually plat skill level, enjoy the free wins while they last, and eventually your mmr will return to something more in sync with your rank.
