Lee Sin only "falls off" if you build him full tank.

His AD scaling on Q, E, and R are really high, but they all scale specifically to** BONUS AD**. So you have to build damage to do damage. Since Lee has such good synergy with lifesteal, I think the optimal solo lane build is: item 3072 item 3074 item 3035 item 3065 item 3143 item 3111

With this build, he gets quite tanky, but also does a shitload of damage, and he vamps up incredibly hard. So, when people talk about Lee falling off, it's only because they did the standard LCS meta, utility tank Lee build: item 3209 item 3143 item 2045 item 3117 item 3190 item 3075

Sure, he'll get tanky, and the wards are nice, but his damage will be garbage tier.

Lee will be always used as a utility tank late game. I've seen damage Sin and they do horribly bad and die before making any plays. Just play one game in high elo and tell us how it went.

That's because you're talking about Lee in a teamfighting context. DPS Lee is better suited towards more of a split pushing/ assassin style gameplay.

There's a reason why most players get sightstone on lee. The ability to instantly reposition via ward-hopping is worth far more than that next damage item.

True, the mobility is nice, but if you keep wards in your inventory, then he should always have enough mobility. You can even buy an early sight stone, and keep it until your 6'th item. However, in extreme late game, I would value an extra damage or tank item over the sight stone, personally. Especially since your support and potentially jungler will have sight stone.

His damage doesn't fall off but he doesn't get enough gold as a jungler unless he is fed.

Also the first build just makes him get melted by carries.

If you play him as a solo laner, and split pusher through mid- late game, you can get a TON of farm on Lee and build those fancy items.

As far as getting "melted by carries," that will only happen if you position poorly, and miss your Q. If you can gap close on the carries, with that build, you can shit on most squishy carries.

Lee doesn't fall off. At all.

No matter what you do, bruisers will fall off, because they usually dont have percent ratios or huge damage outputs. It's a fine balance between tankiness and dealing some damage. And no matter what you build, lee sin will fall off.

Lee has a tough time early lane phase with alot of match ups which can result in him being behind. Being behind with damage as lee sin is extremely bad, for obvious reasons.
