When Ahri charms Yi

I was playing Yi and Ahri charmed me.

Instead of walking slowly toward her, I was running at her at 800 movement speed. Is that a bug, or is that suppose to happen? It confused me so hard, I thought my mouse was broken, and I didn't even click QQS in time.

Yes Yi Ult disables slow ,, and a charm is to walk slowly to the target , so you know what happens

I was on their ADC and he was almost dead, and then suddenly I started moving toward ahri at 800 movement speed. It was so stupid.

It's not stupid , it's one of the main ways to counter Ahri as Yi , did you try playing against fears ? a fear is the opposite of charm , you walk slowly away from the target , like a Fiddle who maxes Q , if he presses it on you , You will leave the fight at mach 20

No , the Opposite , especially when she has no ult , and Yi runs to her , she can charm to slow the target but , Yi disables that with his ult so he directly runs to her , yeah I understand your situation , but you can just kill Ahri after getting charmed and get a reset for your Q and go to the adc again , this isn't the only problem Yi has with CC in fights , you must always use other options when it's closed

Still better than playing against Fiddle as Yi though , his Q will completely kick you out of the fight

Wanna see something funny ? try playing Yi with Phase Rush agaisnt Fiddle who q you xD personally didn't try it but as Ahri I played a lot against Cass players who took phase rush and got their ms passive from q and the phase rush , when I charmed them , they came from half of the lane to my tower

Intentional. As Yi can’t be slowed while in Highlander, you go supa speed

Not necessarily intentional, but all charms (and fears) are a "loss of control" effect combined with a slow.

As Yi's R makes him immune to all slows, that means he cannot actually be affected by the second part of that. As it's not a big enough issue to bother with (there are only 6 or so charms and fears in the game that can affect champions, and it's not detrimental enough to worry about), Riot hasn't bothered to fix it.

Is there anything to fix? Seems more intended then a bug.

Eh. Probably was more of an oversight than anything, originally. Now it might be intentional, or it might be Riot just doesn't care enough about it to rewrite how charms and fears work
