The zyra spells are extremely slow and it is far too easy to outplay even the grab of Blitzcrank is faster than the E zyra.
The worst is its liabilities is completely useless.
It's just a small request of a champion destroyed over the update ...

If they were to fix those problems then she would be a contender.

There have been numerous occasions where a Zyra was an appropriate support pick and she ends up laying waste to everything in her path. I love this champion and play her frequently. As much as I would like to agree that she needs a buff, I think she is just fine.
She sits close to a 53% win rate across all ranks excluding master (60%) and challenger (not played) This is data from the past 30 days.
Andrysek573 votesThe winning percentage is misleading because when a champion has a low pick rate is that the little player who plays the constantly spam and mastery to perfection, in this case it is quite logical that the percentage victory is higher than average.
When zyra was free for 1 week winning percentage fell below 50%.

There are numerous factors that could have impacted her win rate and more players would make it lower drastically.
I love Zyra and would love to see her get stronger. I just don't see the projectile speed being an issue. It hasn't been for me anyways.
I honestly don't know what a healthy win rate for a champion is at this point. Riot is making so many balance changes (as they should) during preseason its hard to tell. I think Zyra's biggest drawback is her lack of mobility. If you miss your E you can pretty much say goodbye. The meta champions are in your face right now deal with it type champions. Zyra want's you to stay away and play in the garden.
