Sorry for my ignorance, I was wondering is Solo Q (whenever - if ever - is released) will allow me to play the role or Champion i want in a game.
I have stopped playing LoL because I dont like being in roles I dont feel like playing at the time (so Dynamic Q does not work for me). I am hoping that Solo Q will let me play what I want to play and allow me to come back to LoL.
For Ranked and Draft mode, yes. Before you queue up you choose at least 2 roles (primary, and secondary or fill), and then you are pair with other players accordingly. Now this is not a guarantee that you will get your role (especially if it is mid), but it works much nicer than before.
We aren't really sure, but if I had my guess I think they would let us pick our roles. Also before everyone comes in preaching "dont get your hopes up, riot isnt bringing soloQ, they havent said anything on it" A rioter posted on their twitter that things are taking longer than usual and is still in the works and they havent forgotten about it.
