Anyone have any luck with Yuumi?

I love yuumi but she is currently unplayable. Please make her heal less bad and fix her AA range riot. I told you her AA range was garbage on PBE and it's really holding her back.

She feels normal, it is everyone else in the game that has too much power.

Shes just great, amazing really. Your mistaking weakness with not understanding her playstyle much the same way many people thought old eve was a bad champion for their first few games because she just played the game that differently from most champions.

She's fun and alright, just not a very good pick for solo queue unless you've got a smurfing ADC duo partner.

I'm on a 50% winrate as her, and 2 of my losses were because of legitimately terrible teammates that would've been uncarryable in any situation. My gut says she's on the weak side but not as bad as people think she is, could probably use heal cooldown buffs.

My issue with Yuumi is that it effectively turns the bot lane into a 2v1 in favor of the enemy team. I've tried discussing this in chat but of course people get defensive because, "Hey! I'm here in lane with you."

While Yuumi is attached to the ADC, that means the ADC is the only targetable player model in lane. This effectively means its the ADCs job to dodge literally every single funneled skillshot that is going to be thrown at them since no one is ever really able to target yuumi.

Her heals aren't enough to compensate for the adc skirmishing a support AND the enemy ADC with auto attacks, nevermind if the ADC gets locked down with any sort of CC or hit with an ability (Remember, there are 8 being thrown at the ADC now). So generally the ADC gets popped, then Yuumi jumps out of the now dead ADC and because she has like, negative base health, two or three auto attacks usually kill her.

shes really good when paired with divers.

i just played her like a LUX mid on my surf account did some great damage i nixed Q first late game her Q hits very hard and her solo heal is awesome, any lane ganks were ez wins, she is just a buff really and adds a lot of damage to the player she is on.

seems like the best choice to be on is melee, but her ult is better cast unattached unless your in voice chat.

just my opinion who knows what will happen with her but man she is a great support for sure but the issue is your add might not know wtf to do with her or even what she dose haha

So far it seems she needs to be played like a proper enchanter. Her damage doesnt seem that great, but you have access to 2 non movement summoners, which is HUGE as a support, and her heal and shield potential is quite massive if played right, being able to make use of guardian for free, proc healing rune with Q, and other heal/shield boosts from runes/items. Her defensive capabilities are actually really high if you can get off to proc passive and jump back on mid game.

If you just sit on your partner all day, yeah, shes going to be weak and bleh. Youre supposed to be jumping on and off.

She doesn't work with artillery, or with Kalista (as I found out when some moron decided to not warn me, then lock after I'd picked... I still got an A+, but we lost, with much flame). She's a good niche champion, but a terrible all-rounder, and really, she needs an engage tank to ride into battle on.

That said, she can make a squishy undivable and inescapable whilst boosting their damage and AS ().

I don't think she's bad, adc needs to be good at positioning and to have an escape to play with her like . She's still new and everyone needs to learn how to play with her. She can be good if you have an adc on voicechat who you can trust, not a champ who you want to play in solo queue.

Yuumi is faring very good for me. Usually i built ludens first and then liandry's or michaels . First games went terrible but now that i got the hang of her she's quite busted. Sadly lich does not proc with w which makes that not a valid strat. But i still go 7/1/28 with her with bursts of around 400-700 every 4 secs. Rabadons is requiered after liandry's tho, it increases your movement speed bonus and burst. I feel that yuumi is good at damaging from far and then helping your allies get close for the kill. I wish her W would proc lich and her range got increased a bit other than that she's one of the best champs for sure with alot of skill play and very fun.[sg-kiko]

I do... She is "weak" alone, but with a good carry like Kata, Tryndamere, Irelia... and so on, IS RLY GOOD

I'm currently in love with Yuumi as a support main, she is rather different from all other support champions and there are lots of ways to play her. But I do agree that she is weak when you are not in a good team. I think Yuumi need buffs with her AA range, her damage, her heal and her CD for all ability

I think her biggest problem is not a numbers issue. With the right items she can really come into her own in terms of heals/shields and damage. The problem, and what I really think holds her back the most, is how much she wrests agency from the player. Unless your team is set up in a convenient way or make the right pathing choices, you are going to struggle getting into position or maximizing her potential. I can't remember how many times I've missed a Q (the one that would have made the play or enabled us to chase) because the person I was attached to decided to take a step back, or missing an ult entirely because your teammate decided to flash away. THAT is what I believe really hurts her. When you play Yuumi it is more about your team making the right choices, not you. This is compounded by the fact we are already talking about a role that is pretty dependent on its team to succeed in the first place. She needs some quality of life tweaks, not buffs. For example, she should be able to pop projectiles when she goes untargetable, like Fizz. In live, a projectiles will follow her and hit her, more often than not resulting in her dying post-attachment. This could be a potential area for risky skill expression, popping some targetable projectiles for your teammate before attaching. I really like her. Have used her a ton. But I won't be playing her anymore. She's just not worth it. The passive's shield value/ratio is also WAY too low for how risky it is to proc come mid/late game. Even WITH the hotfix.
