Something is wrong with game balance.

Hi. I want to share my opinion about the game right now. I start to feel like I am loosing control of what happening in league last months. No matter how I play, no matter who I play, I am only a support to heroes like Yasuo, Yi, Fiora etc. The balance from previous seasons is gone. I remember, when someone rush full dmg, you builded resistances or armor and it was cool. You actually saw difference in opponent dmg. Right now you can rush full defence and it does not matter anything. Game went in direction where DMG outscales DEFENCE on really huge scale. Personally I stop play a few months ago, but I was following patches and situation in game. Right now I came back to see do balance came back. No, it does not. In this moment League of Legend is worst MOBA game, which comes only with Its popularity. Seriously even HotS of blizzard seems to be more playable and you atleast feel like you have control over the situation.

The list what is wrong in League in my opinion.

  • DMG is way too high. Teamfights last 2seconds You are not able to control it. In season 1-4 it was way better.
  • Cooldowns on skills are way too fast. What happened to this game. When champions are able to use they skills every 2-3 seconds its unhealthy. E.g master Yi and his alpha strike all the time.
  • DMG outscales Defence in HUUUUUGE scale. There is no counterplay to pure DMG builds (i remember time, when people who build only dmg were called noobs...)
  • Snowball is too big. Like 99% of games are done with HUGE advantage of one team. No more games like 1hour pingpong style which I personally LOVED.
  • Dragon system is stupid. It only grown snowball, and even in late the team who was winning game have all buffs from dragons. So how this weaker team have to win? There is no balance like before. If one team win early/mid, the enemies lost completely.
  • Game balance is still around PRO TEAM picks. Well it sucks coz they are like 0,005% of league popularity and rest of us have to deal with some champions that are just unfair to people who have no reaction time like 0,2ms.

DMG is way too high: Which is why Riot reduced mastery damage, and is changing defensive stats, in the Mid Season Update

DMG out-scales Defense in HUUUUUGE scale: Not really. First, people who build straight damage aren't called noobs, they are called ADCs, get it right. And, those people who build full damage, they are the ones that get shutdown by tanks. Building defensive gives you survivability, sure, but it doesn't mean you can just run at the enemy team, and soak up damage. Tanks have to be able to be killed, otherwise the game would be boring as hell.

Snowball is too big: Sure, and that's partly the player-bases fault. Overall though, with the bounty system, catch-up EXP, and the contestable objectives, its not hard to stop, or reverse snowball. If you want to get back in the game, stall it out, its not hard.

Dragon system is stupid: Not really. Infernal is the only dragon that's a bit too strong. However, it is a much better system than the previous, which was, ignore the dragon you don't want, and get the certain iterations you do, 2 & 5, I believe. With the new system, each dragons gives a unique buff, that allows you to play a different way. If you lose control of the bot-lane, to the degree that you can't even ward the dragon pit, that's just pretty bad on your part. As long as your jungler is the same level as theirs, you have just as much of a chance to snag the dragon. As for how the dragons increase snowball, no duh. If you secure objectives, like you are supposed to, it gives you a greater chance to win the game. Who would have thought.

Game is still around PRO PICKS: It isn't. If you really think that, you are deluding yourself. For example, the Shyvana, Alistar, and Aatrox minireworks. None of them are played in the pro scene, for quite some time. Yet, Riot changed them to make them more viable. Another example, the Udyr changes on the PBE. Nobody plays Udyr, in the pro scene. So why is Riot trying to make him better? So the players that play him, you know, the gaming community, can play the champ they like, without it being a bad pick.

Damage is, and always has been meant to out scale tankiness. Otherwise, what's he point of adc's? tanks rule the mid game, adc's rule the late game. Damage is up from season 1-4? Do you remember old Kassadin, Veigar, Ahri, Katarina? We at least have a response time to most damage now. And I'm afraid you're in the minority of enjoying "hour long pingpong games". I actually think snowballing is down from where it was when the adc's were reworked last season, and nexuses were being taken prior to 25 minutes fairly regularly. While comebacks are fun, I believe that a team that gets ahead and doesn't screw up, deserves to stay ahead. Anything else would be artificially boosting a team that hasn't earned it.
